abstract = "The use of satellite data has recently been adopted in studies for
estimating hydrologic parameters, since they had presented
efficient results calculating the surface radiation balance. On
account of this, combining the set of remote sensing and
agrometeorological data, it is possible to estimate
evapotranspiration in large areas, based on the energy balance.
The model applied in this case is a great tool for monitoring the
effects of water withdrawl in the region, alerting and avoiding
possible conflicts among users of water resources. Thereby, the
present article sought to study the behavior of evapotranspiration
in different types of land covers, with a high density of
center-pivot irrigation systems through the SAFER (Simple
Algorithm for Evapotranspiration Recovery) Algorithm in nine sub
watersheds of Rio Novo, located in Avar{\'e} County, S{\~a}o
Paulo state. The highest rates were found in February and October
reaching values of 6,29 mm dia-1 and 7,60 mm dia-1. The center
pivot systems and the citrus culture was the biggest water
                         consumers.",
